SHAGGY SHEEP NEWS WE are closing, but I will still be teaching in Lubbock. Nancy Neill of the Lubbock Parks and Recreation has asked me very kindly to teach some advanced classes in dyeing and sock knitting. Look for them this Summer and Fall 2009. I will also be teaching beginning knitting and crochet one-on-one. You can reach me at 438-1981 for a lesson. Leave a message. Lubbock has serveral knitting groups to join. Our own group meets every Tues. nite at 6:00pm. 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month will be at Caprock Manufacturing on 120th ST. and University. Head out south on University and turn left (east) when you see the Caprock Sign. THANK YOU, CAPROCK! Nice, big conference room, many chairs. Come pull one up to the table and join us. The 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month will be at the NEW First Presbyterian church on 1585 and Memphis. (Head south on Indiana, past 98th, past the golf course, turn right when you hit the light.) Pastor Robert Field and his lovely wife, Sherri, has graciously offered us their parlor/fellowship hall. It is the big, beautiful new church in the middle of the cotton field. Can't miss it.
